I was born in Chennai, India and moved to Johannesburg, South Africa in 2011 when I was approximately 7 years old. I then moved from South Africa to Liverpool, United Kingdom, to pursue my degree.
I speak my mother tongue, Thamizh, and English Fluently
I chose Computer Science because of how it captivated me. Specifically the programming aspect of the subject.
My journey with programming started in Grade 10 of high school in South Africa. I took Information Technology as one of my three optional subjects. I began learning my first programming language, Delphi, as part of the subject. In no time, I could already see what my future would look like. While programming, I fell into a space of unbreakable focus, a type of concentration I failed to foster in other subjects. I often found myself losing track of time while programming and almost never felt like I was doing dreadful homework. Although in our modern world, Delphi is not widely used, it opened me up to the possibilities of the programming world and what we could accomplish with it.
As my passion grew, I went on to learn python, Haskell and Java.
